2025 Fall Fundraiser: Hope is in Sight
At Love INC, we meet people daily whose vision has been clouded by hardship, loss, and impossible decisions. But when the Body of Christ steps in, everything changes. They begin to see themselves and their future with new eyes. They begin to realize hope is in sight.
This campaign — Hope is in Sight — is more than a theme. It’s a declaration of what God is doing through His people.
In a time when hope seems hard to find, we can wipe away the fog of crisis and reveal the hope of Christ. As rent, utilities, and everyday costs continues to rise beyond our means, we are called to serve others with clear vision and real compassion.
The number of individuals reaching out to Love INC for help is increasing. Our capacity to serve them relies on partners like you.
Together, with your generosity and support, we can show others His love. Will you help us serve even more neighbors with your gift today?
Eyes open. Hope renewed. That’s the Love INC vision.
“The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord raises up those who are oppressed.
The Lord loves the righteous.”Psalm 146:8 CSB
We’d like to show some of the needs of neighbors may be facing with stories of our real clients.

For decades, Bernard has been able to manage his finances without issue. However, when the city of Lakewood adjusted his property value, the increase to his property taxes was significant. As Bernard also faced unexpected car repairs, he could not make both his property tax and mortgage payments at the same time.
With the assistance of a grant and the partnership of a local church, Love INC paid one month’s mortgage. Bernard sent the following note:
“This was a big financial and mental relief for me. The volunteer and manager I spoke with were very helpful and made sure everything was in order and on time. Love INC is a great organization. I am so thankful for the work they do. They are defiantly living out the example of Jesus in the world!”
Your support can bring Hope into Sight for neighbors like Bernard, who are facing unexpected price increases.

Kendra has become used to hardship.
She works part-time because of a congenital disability.
Two years ago, when working for a railroad company, Kendra was hit by a delivery truck while crossing the rail yard.
As a result of the accident and associated medical bills, Kendra fell behind on her expenses and has been unable to find her financial footing.
She recently reached out to Love INC for assistance for rent.
Together with a local church, Love INC was able to pay one month of Kendra’s rent. We also provided her with referrals to food pantries in her area.
Your support can bring Hope into Sight for neighbors like Kendra, who struggle to recover from unexpected crises.

Nicole has been persevering through many trials. Her sister has been struggling with drug issues and suicide attempts. During this time, Nicole stepped up to raise her nieces and nephews so they wouldn’t end up in the foster care system as Nicole did as a child. Over the last five years, Nicole has adopted three of her sister’s children.
When the stress took a toll on Nicole, her employer Third Federal Savings, allowed her to take a three-month paid leave. However, when it was time for her to return, Third Federal had a hiring freeze and she was let go. Nicole found a new job, but is paid only through commission.
As a result, Nicole fell behind on her gas bill. With the assistance of a grant and Nicole’s church, Love INC helped turn her gas back on. We also provided Nicole with three bags of clothes for her children and referrals to other agencies.
Your support can bring Hope into Sight for neighbors like Nicole, who work hard to care for loved ones.

Alan and his wife Sue were in need of a hand up. Both have serious health issues. As a result, the couple had accumulated significant medical debt. On top of that, Alan had a business venture fail and was forced to use his entire retirement savings to recover the losses.
When they reached out to Love INC for assistance with rent, we required Alan to attend a one-on-one budget meeting. They both attended the meeting and found the counsel very helpful. With the assistance of a grant, we were able to pay a portion of their rent. They sent the following note:
“Your generosity came at a time of desperation in our lives. We were able to stay in our home and are blessed beyond words. Thank you for agreeing to see us and for taking us into consideration. May God bless you and the organization of Love INC for the work that you do.”
Your support can bring Hope into Sight for neighbors like Alan and Sue, who are ready for a second chance.
